Getting your results
Results are typically available within 24 hours. There are three ways to get them.
Before you come in
Do I need an appointment?
No — walk-ins are welcome during opening hours. An appointment just shortens your wait, which matters more at the busy times around opening and lunchtime.
Do I need to fast?
It depends on the test. Fasting is commonly required, often for 12 hours beforehand, meaning nothing but water. Your order or your doctor should say. If it doesn't, call us before the day — coming in without having fasted when you needed to means rescheduling.
Should I take my regular medications?
Usually yes, but not always, and it matters particularly for anything you normally take with food. Check with the provider who ordered the test, or call us and we'll help you work it out.
What do I need to bring?
Your lab order, your insurance card and photo ID. That's it. The order is the one people forget.
What if I don't have insurance?
Call before you come and ask for our self-pay price for your specific test. We'll give you a number upfront rather than a bill afterwards, and our published standard charges are on the price transparency page.
How long until I get results?
Typically within 24 hours. They appear in the patient portal and go to the provider who ordered the test. Some specialised tests take longer — if yours is one of those, we'll tell you at collection.

Free onsite parking, no permit. Use the Radiology–Clinic–Lab entrance rather than the main hospital entrance, take the elevator to the 2nd floor, and check in at the front desk.
